Christmas Rose - February 2020

Unfortunately my photo shoot in dad's garden was rained off this week, so I've dipped into my archive for a single image that has a tenuous link to Christmas.

This is Christmas Rose (Helleborus orientalis) 'Double Ellen' which was looking rather splendid last February. Currently the plants are missing in action, but should be resurfacing within the next couple of weeks with any luck.

I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays that you can muster under the current difficult circumstances...
